Aurizon- Twin Cell Unibox Culvert Replacement

Aurizon Structures Package A consisted of six separable portions of five culvert replacements and one culvert elimination over the 2022/23 period. These works included removing and replacing structures ranging from RCBC’s to dual Unicells, with one site requiring the team to tie into the existing structure, all replaced during scheduled rail shutdown periods. The most notable project of the contract involved successfully replacing 2x existing bridges with twin-cell culverts. The mammoth undertaking was a first for Aurizon, scheduled during a 108-hour closure with early completion of the critical path.
